This route sees you depart from the Olympic city of Innsbruck on the Austrian side of the border, and follow the incredible mountain scenery of the Inn river. With a visit to the Olympic Village to enjoy, you’re bound to feel inspired as you pedal your way through the gorgeous countryside.
Using the incredible mountain scenery as your guide, there’s an awesome array of monasteries, castles and breathtaking vistas to encounter en route to Munich, but you’ll be in no rush to leave them behind on this cycling holiday.

Day 1: Arrival in Innsbruck

Known for its narrow streets and famous Goldenes Dachl, the centre of this historic city is also home to one of the world’s most beautiful casinos.

Day 2: Innsbruck to Strass: 45 km

Leaving Innsbruck through the Olympic Village, you’ll get a fantastic view of the Inn Valley and its surrounding mountain ranges. Riding through both Hall and Schwaz, you’ll reach your day’s final destination – Strass – which lies at the centre of the Zillertal.

Day 3: Strass – Kufstein: 40 km

En route to Kufstein – the Pearl of Tyrol – you can look forward to several castles which will guide you on the way to Brixlegg. We also recommend that you take a walk through the wildly romantic Kundler Klamm, if time allows.

Day 4: Kufstein – Bad Feilnbach/Au: 38 km

Passing through the idyllic Austrian villages of Ebbs and Erl, you’ll discover a simply stunning route to the Bavarian town of Neubeuern. From there, the beautiful landscape of Bad Filnbach and Au awaits you, in the city best known for its mud spa – which is also known as the Bavarian Merano.

Day 5: Bad Feilnbach/Au – Tegernsee: 48 km

From Fischbachau to Lake Schiersee, your fifth day includes a relaxing boat tour on your way to Lake Tegernsee. Famous for its magical view of the lake and scenic mountain panoramas, the breathtaking surroundings will put some life back into your legs for the final few days. You’ll enjoy a relaxing night in Bad Wiessee this evening.

Day 6: Tegernsee – Munich: 25-65 km

Your final day of cycling with us will see you arrive in the bustling cosmopolitan city of Munich, but not before riding through villages bursting with flower-decorated farmhouses and natural forest areas. Plus, if you’re feeling tired, you can shorten today’s stage to just 25km by taking the train.

The end of your journey with us, but perhaps not your trip, you’ll awake in Munich fresh and ready to go! But why stop there?We recommend that you book extra nights.
