Day 2: Corfu – Sivota – Parga – Lefkas: 28km cycle

Cast off! Today starts with your first cruise over to Sivota on the mainland of Greece. Here you’ll begin your first cycle tour which leads you to Parga, beautifully situated below a Venetian fortress which towers above the old town. Here the boat awaits you and takes you on a long cruise to Nidri on Lefkas Island. On the way you’ll pass the nifty swing-bridge that connects Lefkas with the mainland. Overnight spent in the lively harbour of Nidri.

Day 3: Lefkas: 29km cycle

Today’s stage is a tour of Lefkas, beginning with a ride to a nearby waterfall – where (water level dependent) a refreshing morning swim awaits you. Peddling along quiet roads through the mountains and past Sivros you reach the harbour of Vasiliki. The boat then takes you on a short sail to Porto Katsiki, one of the most famous beaches in Greece, where you’ll anchor up and enjoy a dip in crystal blue waters beneath you. The boat then takes you to Fiskardo on Cephalonia, where you’ll spend the night. It is a colourful and charming harbour town, with many cafes and bars to enjoy along the picturesque harbour promenade.

Day 4: Cephalonia: 45km cycle

Today’s route first takes you from Fiskardo to Sami, cycling along the impressive mountain pass at the eastern coast of the island. With numerous unforgettable views, like the panoramic view of neighbouring Ithaca – this morning’s cycle is particularly inspiring. After a much-needed break, you’ll continue cycling, potentially visiting the incredible limestone caves of Melissani by row boat, before a late afternoon cruise to Vathy on the island of Ithaca.

Day 5: Ithica and Meganisi: 34km cycle

This morning starts with a cycle on the homeland of mythical King Odysseus – Ithica. The island is fairly hilly and has a stunning landscape; covered in olive trees and surrounded by crystal clear water. It’s also off the beaten tourist track, and so time here appears to stand still. From Frikes the boat takes you to the small island of Meganisi, passing by the private island of influential ship-owner Aristoteles Onassis. Meganisi is a tiny island with lots of charm, which you’ll explore in no time by bicycle that afternoon.

Day 6: Mytikas – Lefkas – Paxos: 49km cycle

Early this morning you’ll crossover to Mytikas on the Greek mainland. From here you’ll cycle along the coast on panoramic roads, passing some mountain villages like Paleiros as far as Lefkas town, where the ship awaits you. Then an afternoon cruise to Paxos, whose unique natural harbour in Gaios creates a special island atmosphere, sees out the day. We can spend the evening in one of the cosy taverns of Gaios.

Day 7: Paxos and Corfu: 23km cycle

Paxos, the smallest of the seven Ionian Islands is a grove of olive trees, which gives the island a magical, silver green colour. Today’s cycle is a circle of the island, before a final swim in the Mediterranean sea on one of the many beaches on the way round. After lunch the boat then brings you back to Corfu town, where you’ll enjoy your final celebratory meal with your fellow guests, crew and guides.

Day 8: Departure from Corfu

Individual departure from Corfu after breakfast. It is possible to extend your stay at your request.
